Another photo of Hsiao Liuqiu Island, of an old temple by the sea.

Old farmhouse window on the island of Hsiao Liuqiu. It's a small island of the southwest coast of Taiwan and used to be called Lamey Island in the old days. Some researchers claim that it was ethnically cleansed of its aboriginal population during the Dutch colonial period, in order to make room for Chinese settlers.

A traditional house with iron bars on the island of Cijin, that is part of Kaohsiung City.
